University Health Care System Symphony Series: Persevere

Experience the arts and culture of Augusta as the Augusta Symphony presents TCHAIKOVSKY Voyevoda Op. 78, LESHNOFF Symphony No. 4, and BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 5 on January 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Miller Theater as part of their University Health Care System Symphony Series!

Winter Jam

Winter Jam is coming to the James Brown Arena on January 13 at 7 p.m. The concert will feature artists Skillet, Tauren Wells, KB, Colton Dixon, NewSong & more! No tickets required, only $10 donation at the door.

Enjoy a night of laughs with comedy legend Rickey Smiley and friends on January 14 at 8 p.m. at the Miller Theater. He is a television host, actor and top-rated nationally syndicated radio personality will dazzle alongside some of entertainment’s most celebrated performers.

Get ready to experience one of Country’s latest superstars –– Parker McCollum on January 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bell Auditorium. The night will feature his honest songwriting and showcase his lifelong dedication to creating real country music.

25th Anniversary Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Breakfast

Celebrate the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the 25th Anniversary Unity Breakfast on January 17th at Augusta Marriott at 7:30am. The event is hosted by the Phil H. Waring Memorial Education Foundation (501©3 certified) and the members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Chi Lambda Chapter. The guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. Herman “Skip” Mason, Jr., 33rd General President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Summer: The Donna Summer Musical

Enjoy an evening dedicated to the incomparable life of Donna Summer—the undisputed Queen of Disco on January 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bell Auditorium. Summer: The Donna Summer Musical features more than 20 of Summer’s classic hits and electric dancing, all in tribute to the voice of a generation.

Bring out your best black tie attire to enjoy the Augusta Symphony’s Annual Gala on January 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Miller Theater. Enjoy a concert featuring the Augusta Symphony and guest artist Michael Andrew.

South Augusta Farmers Market

Experience fun for the entire family at the South Augusta Farmers Market from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The market’s top priority is providing access to fresh, healthy food for the neighborhood and surrounding area. Also enjoy urban ballroom dance demos, a petting zoo and apiary, and more.

Sculpture Trail

The weather will be just right to enjoy the Augusta Sculpture Trail now until 2023. The trail features 10 beautiful sculptures by nationally renowned artists on display in downtown Augusta. Bring the family or friends to participate in the Augusta Sculpture Trail-Scavenger Hunt to earn badges anytime day or night.
