GreenJackets Baseball is Back!
It’s Baseball season. Augusta’s home team is back. Enjoy the GreenJackets at home July 1 - 31 at SRP Park , see the schedule. This family-friendly activity has something for everyone. Enjoy great food, a kids zone, giveaways and more. Tickets are $10 - $ 25.
Fireworks Paddle with Two Dudes & A Boat Kayak Rentals We’re now experiencing warmer temperatures, which is a great time for kayaking. Enjoy the Fireworks Paddle on July 2, 3 starting at 6:00p.m. This guided kayaking tour takes you down the river to the 15th St. Bridge and to SRP Park for a 15 minute Augusta GreenJackets fireworks spectacular.
Nike EYBL Peach Jam
See some of the best youth in the country at the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Peach Jam Tournament from July 17 - 24. The annual EYBL Nike Peach Jam is one of the most long standing and prestigious grassroots basketball tournaments on the amateur circuit featuring the best high school basketball players from across the country and Canada.
Candlelight Music Series Enjoy the Candlelight Music Series on Sundays at the Augusta Common. This is one of the city’s premier music events featuring music from local and regional bands. There will be five shows during July. July 25 and 31. Admission is $10. See upcoming acts here.
Majestic Fest: An Evening with Jamal Moore & Special Guests! Jamal Moore, internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, and recording artist returns home for a one night only musical event, Majestic Fest on July 30 at the Douglas Barnard Amphitheater at Augusta University. His musical abilities have presented him with opportunities to collaborate with some of music's biggest names from Beyoncé to Kanye West; Wynton Marsalis and The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to the LA Philharmonic; and many more. Admission is $25 - $75.
Saturday Market at the River Swing by the Saturday Market at the River where artists and craftspeople line the 8th Street entrance to the Riverwalk every Saturday in downtown Augusta from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. offering unique, handmade wares and mix in with local chefs and tastemakers selling ethnic fare, locally roasted coffee, fresh baked goods and regional produce.
South Augusta Farmers Market Experience fun for the entire family at the South Augusta Farmers Market from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The market’s top priority is providing access to fresh, healthy food for the neighborhood and surrounding area. Also enjoy urban ballroom dance demos, a petting zoo and apiary, and more.
Sculpture Trail The weather will be just right to enjoy the Augusta Sculpture Trail now until 2023. The trail features 10 beautiful sculptures by nationally renowned artists on display in downtown Augusta. Bring the family or friends to participate in the Augusta Sculpture Trail-Scavenger Hunt to earn badges anytime day or night.
