MWR Star is an initiative to recognize exemplary employees in MWR. People who go above and beyond to assist MWR customers and their co-workers. One individual is chosen monthly to be featured as our star, spotlighting details about themselves and their position within MWR.
Our October MWR star is Mrs. Tressa Riley who works at Nelson Fitness. Tressa Riley’s father was in the army, and then she married into the army. She and her husband chose Georgia when he retired, and since it is by far the longest she’s lived anywhere, they consider Augusta as their home. Michigan, however, is where they met and most of the extended family lives there currently. Mrs. Riley and her family try to travel a bit and enjoy tailgating with their kids at Georgia Tech.
Mrs. Riley’s words of wisdom are to “do things now, time goes too fast”. Her favorite aspect about working in MWR is that “it gives me the chance to serve those who serve our country.” She would like to send a big shout out to all her patrons at Nelson Fitness Center, you are why she enjoys her work.
Mrs. Tressa Riley was chosen as our October star due to her hard work and determination as well as always coming to work with a smile.
