Coffee & Conversations: Anchored Wisdom

Coffee & Conversations, presented by Telemynd, is a welcoming, community-centered event featuring Navy veteran and author Ralph Brooks, whose book Anchored Wisdom offers heartfelt guidance on parenting through military deployments. This gathering creates space for an open, relatable conversation about the unique challenges military families face and the resources available to support them.

Attendees will hear Ralph share personal experiences and insights from Anchored Wisdom, followed by a community panel discussion focused on navigating parenting during deployment. Representatives from across the Fort Gordon community—including EFMP, FAP, MCFLs, and the school liaison - will highlight local support services for families. Telemynd will also share mental health and family support resources.

The event includes coffee from 7 Brew and light refreshments from Nothing Bundt Cakes, an interactive Q&A session, and a chance to win one of several giveaway copies of Anchored Wisdom.
