2019 Lifeguard Classes

American Red Cross lifeguard classes will be starting in March! Classes run Monday through Friday at the Indoor Pool from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Must be 15 years of age and pass all prerequisites to participate. Prerequisites include swim, treading and timed brick events. Student must complete online work by the last day of class and give instructor the completion certificate before sitting for written exam and water check out skills. Must be able to attend every class session for the week, pass water skills check out and pass written exam with an 80% or higher. The minimum number of participants needed per class is 6 students. If the class size is not met, students will be placed in class the following week.
Cost
Cost for the course is $200. Cost includes link for online work (approx. 7 hours), pocket mask, certificate in ARC Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
