Dare-To-Tri Triathlon

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Come enjoy a race with low traffic, held completely on Fort Gordon, which helps support our military! The Dare-To-Tri Triathlon consists of a 300 meter pool swim, 10 mile bike ride, and 5K run that takes place completely on Fort Gordon. The race will start at 9am.

Swim:

300 meter pool swim in the Fort Gordon Indoor 50m Pool. Participants start at one side of the pool and snake their way up and down each lane as they work towards the other side of the pool.

Bike:

The bike course is a 12K loop with a small lollipop. The course is rolling to hilly and takes place completely on the Fort Gordon installation. The roads are open to traffic – but traffic is usually fairly light.

Run:

The 5K run course is a single loop, almost completely on a 3 mile running trail. The course is flat.

Registration: You must register by March 26th! Please call 706-791-1142 with any questions/concerns.

**COVID Changes**

During the registration process, please be as accurate as possible with your 100 meter swim time. To give you an idea of times: an excellent swimmer is around 1min/100 meters and the average triathlete is close to 2min/100 meters. Beginners and less experienced swimmers are often much slower. Listing an accurate time is very important this year.
