Domestic Violence Prevention Month Presentation

The ACS Family Advocacy Program is raising awareness for Domestic Violence Prevention Month with a candlelit ceremony and guest speaker. The candlelit ceremony will recognize survivors and victims of domestic violence and will be followed by a hour long speaking session on how to raise awareness and identify signs of domestic violence.

The keynote speaker will be Dorothy Newton, former wife of 3 time Super Bowl champion Nathaniel Newton and author of "Silent Cry: The true story of abuse and betrayal of an NFL wife." There will be a book signing session after the ceremony.  Book must be purchased prior to the event.

Registration Information

Must register by October 19, 2018.  Presentation will be held in Darling Hall room 188.
