Independence Celebration

Location: Barton Field

Join us for a spectacular celebration honoring 250 years of American independence. This milestone event will be packed with excitement for all ages — from dazzling fireworks lighting up the night sky to DJ Kris Fisher keeping the party going with music all evening long.

Families can indulge in delicious eats from an array of food trucks serving crowd favorites.

As we come together for this historic celebration, please note the following prohibited items to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone: no coolers, tents, fireworks or sparklers, outside alcohol, or glass containers.

Bring your friends, bring your family, and bring your patriotic spirit — this is one celebration you won’t want to miss.

While we welcome community members of the CSRA to join us, this year’s celebration is not an open post event. All individuals 18 years and older must present a DoW ID, AIE credentials, or an approved gate pass to access the installation.

To request a pass online, please visit here. In person passes can be obtained at the Visitor Control Center (VCC) at Gate 6, open Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–5 p.m.
