Note: This event has already passed.

Location: Barton Field

MWR Sports is ushering in the Run to Honor 5K alongside the Fort Gordon Army Ten-Miler! ACS’s Survivor Outreach Services program will distribute Run to Honor 5K bibs for participants to write the name(s) of those to be honored.

The Ten-Miler is a competition to test your endurance. The 5K race will be in support of the Fort Gordon Strong B.A.N.D.S (Balance- Activity- Nutrition- Determination- Strength) program. Army installations world-wide are banding together for the annual Strong B.A.N.D.S. campaign in recognition of "National Physical Fitness and Sports Month" during the month of May. ACS / S O S program will support this program with Strong B.A.N.D.S. 5K and the "I Run to Honor" programs. Participants will be given Strong B.A.N.D.S. wristbands that symbolize the community's commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

Special Instructions:
