The Fort Gordon Entertainment Program offers a full season of theatrical and musical events.

The critically acclaimed Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre is a professionally-staffed community theatre with a first class reputation. We use talented military and civilian volunteer cast, crew and backstage workers. We are a wide-open group, and are always looking for new people. Prior experience is not required, just a keen interest. We'll teach you what you need to know.

Our season offers year-round, high quality, Broadway-style musicals, comedies, mysteries and special attractions. Always striving for the best, we have received awards on local, state, national and Army-levels. When you add to that a delicious buffet meal, free parking, top-notch customer service, and a beautiful state-of-the-art facility, the result is an unbeatable entertainment opportunity!

The Entertainment Program also offers outdoor concerts featuring national, regional, and local attractions, plus Fort Gordon based talent shows, festivals, and Youth Theatre productions. Our special events amphitheatre offers a massive, state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, and always provides an electrifying "event to remember" for audiences of all ages.

Don't miss a chance to patronize one of these outstanding entertainment venues.

Policies

Cameras and Recorders

Play leasing requirements and theatre policy prohibit the use of cameras or recording devices during performances.

Children

As a courtesy to our actors/actresses and patrons, children under the age of 7 (including infants) are not eligible to attend Dinner Theatre performances unless specifically designated in our publicity for a particular youth-oriented production.

Hearing Devices

We have assisted listening devices that can be used free of charge during the show. A driver’s license or credit card will be required as security for using the hearing device and, will be stored in a sealed envelope in a secure lock box in the box office. Upon returning the hearing device, the driver’s license or credit card will be returned.

Outside Food and Drinks

We offer an outstanding food and beverage menu. Guests are not permitted to bring their own food or alcohol into the theatre facility.

Seating

All seats are reserved, except for the occasional walk-in. Please call the Box Office to make your reservations. On show night, please enter the front doors into the lobby and turn to your right. You will see the Will-Call location, manned by our friendly staff.

When you identify the name of your party, one of our volunteer hosts will escort you to your assigned seat.

As in most nightclubs and dinner theatres, we are not able to offer every party a table of their own.

As a general rule, parties of 1, 2 or 3 are seated with other guests at a table that accommodates 4 or 5.

Most of our guests find that this is a nice opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the show together.

Parties of 5 or more generally receive seating reserved for their party only.

Smoking

Our theatre is a non-smoking facility. There is a designated smoking area on the front porch.

Wheelchair Access

A wheelchair ramp to the front porch of the theatre is located on the left side of the main entrance. The top level of the auditorium is designated for wheelchair access. Please note this requirement when you make your reservation.

Theatre Etiquette

Talking

As a courtesy to our other guests and to the actors on stage, please refrain from talking during the performance.

Remain in your seats

For your safety, we ask that during the performance all our guests remain in their seats until the house lights are fully up at the end of each act. In addition to the safety concerns, the actors, staff and crew work very hard to provide you with a quality production. Please do not exit during the curtain call.

Behavior

We are very aware that your entertainment choices are many. We expect all of our employees to treat our guests in a polite and respectful manner (and hope that you will let us know if we vary from this standard in any way). We ask that our guests treat our employees in the same manner.

Turn off electronic devices

Please turn off cell phones, pagers, beeping watches and all other electronic devices that may be distracting to the performers or other patrons.

Attire

We want you to be comfortable and relaxed at our events, yet we encourage a minimum standard of business casual attire. This standard is relaxed for our Soldiers in training who may not have access to civilian clothing during some phases of training.
