Enjoy Bike Bike Baby’s inaugural Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Julian Smith Casino. This black tie affair will feature New Orleans cuisine, and LIVE music to celebrate their one year business anniversary. 


Open Studios “Annex” by Westobou

Come tour the 2022 Artist in Residence Studio with Devin Lovett at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art and the Westobou Annex Studios behind the Old Academy of Richmond County with Aort Reed and Katie Scarborough on April 1 at 5:00 p.m. Admission is Free for Westobou Members or $5 at the door for non-members.


Paddle with Two Dudes - Sunrise Tour

Spring means warmer temperatures, which is a great time for kayaking. Enjoy the Sunrise Tour provided by Two Dudes and a Boat on April 2 and any other weekend at 7:00 a.m. This 2.5 hour guided kayaking tour starts off easy by paddling with the river’s current into the morning sunrise. 


The American Ballet Theatre Studio Company

ABT Studio Company, the junior company of American Ballet Theatre, is made up of 12-18 rising stars of the ballet world between the ages of 16 and 20. They will take the stage on April 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the USCA Etherredge Center.

Moonlight Music Cruise: The Henry’s

Pack a picnic and enjoy a relaxing evening on the Augusta Canal for the Moonlight Music Cruise featuring The Henry’s on April 15 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $27 for adults and $25 for senior 60+, military and students.  


The 8th Annual Augusta Blues Festival

Enjoy the 8th Annual Augusta Blues Festival on April 15 at 8:00 p.m. at the Bell Auditorium featuring Pokey Bear, J’Wonn, Tucka, Sir Charles Jones, Ronnie Bell & Theodis Ealey. Tickets are $62 - $128. 

Canal Discovery Day

Enjoy a celebration of National Park Service at the Canal Discovery Day on April 16 at 10:00 a.m. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, games, music, Petersburg Boat Rides, speakers, book signing, artists and animals from Reed Creek Education Center. 

Downtown Music Festival

Enjoy music at the Downtown Music Festival from April 21 - 24 at the Augusta Common. The festival will include appearances from Laine Hardy, Curtis Grimes, Holly Tucker, The Rachel Brooke Band and more. See the website for all artists and ticket prices. 


Saturday Market at the River

Swing by the Saturday Market at the River where artists and craftspeople line the 8th Street entrance to the Riverwalk every Saturday in downtown Augusta from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. offering unique, handmade wares and mix in with local chefs and tastemakers selling ethnic fare, locally roasted coffee, fresh baked goods and regional produce. 


South Augusta Farmers Market

Experience fun for the entire family at the South Augusta Farmers Market from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The market’s top priority is providing access to fresh, healthy food for the neighborhood and surrounding area. Also enjoy urban ballroom dance demos, a petting zoo and apiary, and more. 


Spring Market at the Marina 

Swing by the Spring Market at the Marina on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the 5th Street Marina. Vendors will have jewelry, candles to everything in between. Eat at the Riverside Cafe food truck and enjoy entertainment by Jo Nash and her Jazz on select Sundays.  


Sculpture Trail

The weather will be just right to enjoy the Augusta Sculpture Trail now until 2023. The trail features 10 beautiful sculptures by nationally renowned artists on display in downtown Augusta. Bring the family or friends to participate in the Augusta Sculpture Trail-Scavenger Hunt to earn badges anytime day or night.
