Holiday Gingerbread Village
The Augusta Museum of History will be displaying its annual Holiday Gingerbread Village from November 18 through November 28. These intricate gingerbread creations, crafted by local bakers, are modeled after historic buildings in Augusta’s River Region. It is free to visit the Village which is displayed in the Museum’s Rotunda during regular museum hours. Visitors are invited to bid on the gingerbread houses via silent auction. All proceeds benefit educational programs, future exhibits, and preservation efforts at the museum.
Augusta’s 4th Annual HP Pub Crawl
The Chamber has been (re)opened on November 20 at Augusta’s 4th Annual Pub Crawl! Enemies of the heir, beware. Enjoy festivities galore as we celebrate our love for all things HP & support downtown and other local businesses. Kickoff at The Scene at 8 pm; afterparty at Solé starting at midnight.
Downtown Augusta Small Business Crawl
Shopping downtown Augusta just more interesting with the Downtown Augusta Small Business Crawl on November 27. Pick up your FREE LOVE AUGUSTA TOTE for the first 200 Small Biz Shoppers at Augusta & Co. and then start your shopping adventure! With each purchase from a participating business, shoppers will receive a custom button and one entry for the gift basket valued at $300+ of local merch.
Canadian Brass Holiday Concert with Wycliffe Gordon
Enjoy the Canadian Brass featuring Wycliffe Gordon on November 30 at the Augusta University Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre. The ensemble has an international reputation as one of the most popular brass ensembles today, Canadian Brass has truly earned the distinction of “the world’s most famous brass group.” They’ll be joined by internationally known, American Trombonist, Wycliffe Gordon.
Augusta Christmas Tree Light-Up & Fireworks
Augusta kicks off the holiday season with holiday lights and fireworks at the Augusta Christmas Tree Light-Up & Fireworks on December 4 in the Augusta Common. Bring a coat and lawn chairs as you enjoy the official lighting of the downtown, Augusta Christmas tree and a fireworks spectacular to officially welcome the season of cheer.
The Augusta Players Presents: ELF the Musical
Enjoy ELF the Musical based on the hit movie on December 10, 11 and 12 at the Imperial Theatre. The show is filled with non-stop smiles. Buddy, the would-be elf is unaware that he is actually human. With some Santa magic, he embarks on a journey, only to discover his father is on the naughty list and his brother doesn't believe in Santa!
Augusta’s Christmas Parade
Kick off the holiday season with the Augusta Christmas Parade on December 11. Enjoy the Christmas season with decorative floats and catch a glance of Santa and a few of his reindeer as they journey through upper Broad Street and proceed between 6th and 13th Streets.
A Drag Queen Christmas
Shake up the holiday season with a magical (and hilarious) evening of holiday performances at A Drag Queen Christmas presented by Murray & Peter on December 21 at the Miller Theater. The show will feature contestants from the reality television show. All ages welcome. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m

Saturday Market at the River
Swing by the Saturday Market at the River where artists and craftspeople line the 8th Street entrance to the Riverwalk every Saturday in downtown Augusta from 8 am to 2 pm offering unique, handmade wares and mix in with local chefs and tastemakers selling ethnic fare, locally roasted coffee, fresh baked goods and regional produce. The last Saturday Market of the season will take place on November 20.
