2026 AER Campaign

Campaign dates are March 1 through June 14, 2026.

The 2026 Army Emergency Relief (AER) campaign is a pivotal initiative dedicated to providing financial assistance to Soldiers and their families. As the Army's official nonprofit organization, AER has been a cornerstone of support since 1942, offering a helping hand to those facing unforeseen financial challenges. 

The annual campaign serves two primary purposes: to educate all Soldiers and their families about the various financial assistance programs available through AER and to provide an opportunity for Soldiers to contribute to this vital cause through charitable donations. 

How to Contribute

Soldiers can contribute to the AER campaign in several ways:

  • Online Donations: The fastest and most direct way to contribute is through the official AER website.

  • Payroll Allotments: Active duty and retired Soldiers can set up a monthly donation through the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). 

     

  • Unit Representatives: Donations can be made through designated unit representatives. 

     

  • AAFES Checkout: Donations can be made at Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) locations at checkout. 

     

The Impact of Your Contribution

Every dollar donated to AER directly supports Soldiers and their families. 

 Assistance is provided in the form of zero-interest loans and grants for a variety of needs, including: emergency travel, housing and utilities, vehicle repairs, medical and dental expenses, and scholarships for spouses and children 

The 2026 AER campaign is a testament to the Army's commitment to taking care of its own. By participating, you are directly contributing to the readiness and well-being of the entire Army community.
