Parent Resources

  • Childcare registration and enrollment: Visit MilitaryChildCare.com to search, compare, and apply for FCC providers near your installation. Contact your local FCC Office for assistance with the registration process.
  • Child and Adult Care Foor Program (CACFP): The CACFP ensures children receive nutritious meals and snacks while in FCC homes. FCC providers enrolled in CACFP receive reimbursement for food costs to maintain healthy meal standards.

FCC Provider Support and Training

FCC providers receive extensive training and support to ensure they meet Army childcare standards and provide the best possible care.

  • Initial Training: Providers complete training covering child development, CPR, first aid, and child abuse prevention

  • Ongoing Professional Development: Providers have opportunities for continuing education, workshops, and certifications such as the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

  • Business and Operational Support FCC Lending Library: Providers can borrow toys, learning materials, and safety equipment to enhance their childcare environment.

Networking and Mentorship: Access to FCC provider support groups and mentorship programs to share experience and best practices.
