Boarding

Incoming Boarding Information:

Hilltop requires the following for incoming horses 5 working days before arrival. Download the Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) for Boarding Horses.

  1. Coggins: Six months or less Coggins
  2. Shot Records: Eastern/Western, Flu, Rhino, Rabies, West Nile
  3. Wormer: Wormer is to be given when you arrive
  4. Date of Arrival: Horses may be brought in during normal business hours

Note: Availability of stall or boarding acceptance is not guaranteed. All boarding must be approved by the Facility Manager.


Boarding Fees
Partial Boarding Package $400/month
TDY/Deployment Boarding Package with orders only $500/month
Pasture Boarding
Does not include stall, quarterly de-wormer, a storage locker or trailer parking.
$250/month
Overnight Boarding
Horses may be brought in Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must have Coggins, 6 months or less; Shot records: tetanus, rhino, rabies, flu, west nile and eastern/western. All horses will be wormed – supplied by owner.
$45/night
Hurricane Evacuation Boarding $35/night
Shaving Package (5 bags of shavings per month with quick pick) add $50/month
Hold Horse (vet) $40/hour
Hold Horse (farrier) $40/hour
Partial Boarding Package
  • 14% / 7% feed AM and PM feed provided and dropped (not to exceed 3 scoops per day)
  • Hay provided in stall only during inclement weather (day and/or night)
  • Water provided in stall
  • Quick pick of stall daily
  • Large pasture turn out sheds
  • Hay, water and salt blocks provided in pastures
  • Turn-out and turn-in 2 times daily
  • Quarterly worming
  • Sandblast (1st Sunday of each month)
  • Lit round pens
  • Lit riding arena
  • Over 20 miles of marked wooded riding trails
  • Trailer parking
  • Storage locker
  • Wash racks
  • Playgrounds / picnic areas with grills
  • Shavings in stall are not included in the Partial Boarding Package

Stall Shavings Package: If shavings are requested in the stall, an additional charge of $50 per month will be added to the above Partial Boarding Package. This additional fee includes the initial shavings, only a daily "quick pick of visible manure" in the stall, and 1 total stripping/cleaning per quarter. If additional shavings are requested during the month, a fee of $10 per bag requested will be charged.

Any additional amenities (special requests, services, medications, etc.) will be at the expense of the owner.

TDY/Deployment Boarding Package
  • AM and PM feed provided and dropped
  • Hay provided in stall only during inclement weather (day and/or night)
  • Water provided in stall
  • Quick pick of stall daily
  • Sandblast (1st Sunday of each month)
  • Quarterly worming
  • Hay, water and salt blocks provided in pastures
  • Turn-out and turn-in 2 times daily
  • Grooming and hoof picking (Minimum and Maximum 1 to 2 times per week)
  • Trim and balance (farrier) every 6 to 8 weeks
  • Shavings in stall are not included in the TDY/Deployment Boarding Package

Stall Shavings Package: If shavings are requested in the stall, an additional charge of $50 per month will be added to the above TDY/Deployment Boarding Package. This additional fee includes the initial shavings, only a daily "quick pick of visible manure" in the stall, and one total stripping/cleaning per quarter.
