Get expert guidance on your next vehicle project with our Rent-A-Tech service! This program is part of the Surrey Car Care Self-Service Center, and gives you one-on-one time with a professional automotive technician who can help you complete your repair or maintenance project safely and correctly.
Whether you’re tackling brake work, oil changes, or troubleshooting an issue, our technicians are here to help you every step of the way.
How It Works
- Rent a service bay ($12 per hour) and book a time with our automotive professional.
- Bring your own parts — tools and equipment are available on-site.
- Complete the required Auto Skills Safety Training before your appointment.

Service Details
- Who Can Use It: Active Duty, Retirees, Veterans, Dependents, and DoW ID Card Holders
- Duration: Minimum 1 hour / Maximum 3 hours
- Parts: Not included (customer-provided)
- Availability: Appointments must be scheduled during normal operating hours
- Services and availability are at the automotive professional's discretion
- Repair assistance is not warrantied
