Army Community Service Relocation Readiness is the one-stop for anyone moving to Fort Gordon, or leaving for the next duty station.
Relocation is one of the 3 most stressful life events, and military personnel do it often – let us help you make it easier. Relocation Readiness can provide information on your next duty station, tell you all about Fort Gordon and Augusta, explain your entitlements and help you pull it all together so that it makes sense.
Arriving Army enlisted personnel reporting to Darling Hall should go to Room 271. Officers should report to Room 262.
All arriving Army personnel must attend our newcomer orientation, which is held each Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. Stop by our office in Darling Hall, Room 172, for the location of the orientation. Orientations are typically held in Darling Hall, Room 188.
Service Members on Permissive TDY for house hunting in conjunction with PCS are NOT required to visit the Housing Services Office to have leave forms stamped. If Soldier's PTDY was approved by the losing duty station, the gaining unit must add a statement in Block 17 stating that the "Soldier arrived at the new PDS on (date) to start PTDY" and sign the statement.
Need to use a computer, or a place to use yours? Our welcome center in Room 172 has computers available for printing documents, completing surveys required during inprocessing, setting up household goods shipments, checking mail, etc. We also have a charging station for your mobile devices.
